Dr. Jered McLennan – Doctor of Chiropractic

Initially from rural Iowa, Dr. Jered McLennan now calls Alaska Home. Growing up, Dr. Jered always loved helping others, and he dreamed of a future in healthcare. After experiencing chiropractic at only ten years old, he knew it was what he wanted to be when he grew up- and his dreams never wavered. Dr. Jered is now proud to serve the Anchorage community at Arctic Chiropractic Huffman, teaching patients the power of chiropractic and a healthy lifestyle.

Dr. Jered earned his bachelor’s in biology from the University of Northern Iowa and then went to achieve his Doctor of Chiropractic at Palmer College of Chiropractic is San Jose. While at Palmer, he participated in the Sports Council and was able to attend athletic events in the Bay Area, offering triage support to athletes and introducing chiropractic to the community.

In practice, Dr. Jered’s favorite part of being a chiropractor is impacting people’s lives in a positive way. He gets to come to work every day where people are happy to see him, and he’s truly grateful to serve, helping patients take control of their health so they can live the best lives possible.

In his free time, Dr. Jered loves exploring the city, listening to live music and going to comedy shows.

Dr. Joel Ingersoll – Doctor of Chiropractic

Dr. Joel Ingersoll was raised in Alaska and grew up in commercial fishing in Valdez. He worked in the Prudhoe Bay oil field for several years. He also worked manual labor jobs including runway and road constructions projects in western Alaska.

After experiencing the benefits of Chiropractic, he changed career paths so he could help others. He graduated from the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon in 2007 with his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. He practiced in Oregon while continuing his education. Because of his passion, Dr. Ingersoll has a post graduate certificate in Functional Medicine and continually studies the most current literature, research and information regarding all aspects of health, nutrition, lifestyle, exercise, and general wellness.

Additionally, he is board certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners in Physiotherapy. Dr. Ingersoll has been practicing in Alaska since 2011 when he and his family moved back to Alaska with his cat and dog.

Alma – Licensed Massage Therapist

Alma has been practicing Massage Therapy both in Alaska and California for the last 10 years. She recently moved back to Alaska and joined Dr. Lloyd’s team of professionals. Alma specializes in prenatal, deep tissue, circulatory, Thai, and medical massage. Alma enjoys treating patients with a combination of spa-like techniques. In her personal time, she enjoys spending time with her son; together they go fishing, hiking, and snowboarding. She also loves to dance and listen to live music. Her goals are to bring holistic health and relaxation to patients in need.

Caine – Licensed Massage Therapist

Caine is a Licensed Massage Therapist living and working in the Anchorage area. Educated locally, Caine graduated with honors and is a lifelong learner who continues to take additional courses so he will be able to apply different modalities to the treatment of his clients.

Caine has a natural drive to help people and enjoys applying Massage Therapy to alleviate discomfort and pain in his clients. When not at work, Caine enjoys hiking, snowboarding, playing chess and painting.

Zach – Licensed Massage Therapist

Zachary has been a massage therapist since 2013 moving from Fargo, North Dakota to attend massage school in Phoenix Arizona. He specializes in medical based therapeutic massage as well as various modalities including Structural Therapy, Thai/shiatsu, Russian Sports, Cranial Sacral Therapy, Reflexology, Myofacial Manipulation and Temple Lomi Lomi.

Zachary and his two children Kieron (4) and Lucas (2) relocated to Alaska to be with family and work with Arctic Chiropractic. He loves the scenery and outdoor lifestyle out here, enjoy hiking, rock climbing, slack lining, basketball, and pretty much anything outside. He feels blessed to be able to help people gain relief from their symptoms and restrictions through effective and relaxing manipulation of soft tissues and ROM. He enjoys helping clients become more connected with their bodies so they can improve their quality of life and physical health.
