Bear Paw Festival

Come join the Alaskan festivities with none other than the Bear Paw Festival! Containing summer fun related activities, but with an Alaskan twist!

Every July, Anchorage brings the fun and put on by the Chugiak-Eagle River Chamber of Commerce for all ages of the entire town.

Fun:

• The Slippery Salmon Olympics – the most well known event. Watch teams race each other holding a REAL salmon, while tackling an obstacle course.
• The Running of the Bears – a race for 300 yards, running along each other, dressed as animals (local business or community organization mascots)!
• Human foosball – real life, real humans playing this classic game.
• Teddy Bear Picnic
• Classic Car Show
• Parade
• Carnival Rides
• I-Did-A-Duck Race
